We are choosing to approach this journey with the utmost optimism.  And  we are praying for strength, courage and a healthy outcome.

Current research shows that there is power in prayer and positive energy. Whether you pray to God, Buddha or another higher or spiritual power, our mother is well-known to all of them. As Beth, our close family friend said to me, Susan has been a mother for many, many years and has put her arms around more children, adults and animals than any other person on this Earth. She is a mother to everyone - that is what she does. Please consider prayer networks at your churches, synagogues, bible studies or meditation groups. If you call our mom or us, please don't say "I'm sorry". We are approaching this fight with optimism and good humor. Jokes our good, encouragement is better!!

We've received so many stories of people diagnosed with Stage IV kidney cancer or other advanced cancers who are thriving and living wonderful, happy lives. the stories tell of their fight and how they got to wellness. These stories are wonderful and fuel our energy to keep going.  We have one family member who is such a story and another close family friend who is one year away.  Please continue to share these stories with us.
